The people behind Cristical
One evening Hritik sat in his Mumbai office and felt something he couldn’t name. Not sadness exactly. More like repetition. The same road, the same desk, the same version of tomorrow. A life running on loop. That night he decided to leave not tomorrow, not next week, but the next morning. He called Kritika. He said come with me. She asked where. He said he didn’t know.
She said yes.
That journey became McLeod Ganj. And McLeod Ganj became Cristical.
What we found in those mountains changed the way we think about everything we make. We met monks who wore stones not as decoration but as intention. We stood at the edge of a waterfall no one warned us about and jumped in anyway. We watched the evening sun fall on ice peaks and turn them gold a quiet, settling gold that made everything go still.
We came back to Mumbai carrying stones, stories, and a clarity we hadn’t expected to find.
We sat in the studio and we knew exactly what to do.
Cristical is not a factory. It is not a catalogue. It is a studio run by two people who travel, collect stories, and handcraft every single piece from start to end sketching, sourcing materials from the places we visit, shaping wire by hand, choosing every stone with intention.
We believe jewellery should feel like something. Not just look like something. A Cristical piece is wearable art a small, beautiful record of a real place, a real moment, a real feeling.
Every piece has a story. Every story has a meaning. Every detail is intentional.
